The Christmas tree has become a symbol controversy over the years. It is one universal thing displayed in many homes across the globe during the lead up to Christmas.
The Christmas tree is usually an evergreen spruce tree that is decorated with baubles and lights with presents underneath. Pagans have used the Christmas tree for their winter celebrations in which they did more than gift giving. At some point in Christianity, the tree was incorporated into the Christian day of remembrance of Christ birth. Though a different tree from what the pagans used was favoured.
